George Dekan - Founder
George Dekan, founder of Dekan Athletic began his career as an Industrial Education Teacher and Head Track and Field coach at Glenbard High School, Glen Ellyn, Illinois, from 1947 to 1965. George served as the Track & Field State Final Head Referee from 1988 through 1996, and served as a starter and referee at local, district, conference, and state track meets for high schools and universities for over 20 years. George was also a partner and advisor with Richard Pond during the development of Dekan Pond Shoes Inc. George’s honors include:
- Named to the Illinois Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Illinois Hall of Fame
- Nominated and elected to the Hall of Fame for the Keebler National Invitational Track and Field Championship
- Received a special award for dedication to the Illinois Athletic Association for Promotion of Girls Track and Field Events
- 2000 inductee into the Hall of Fame for the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE)
- One of three inductees into the Hall of Fame for the National Association of High School Athletic Directors who have never been Athletic Directors.
George has a Bachelors Degree from Northern Illinois University and a Masters Degree from University of Alabama.

Chris Casula – President
Chris Casula joined the Dekan Athletic Equipment Corporation in July of 2008. Chris has over 30 years of experience in executive management. Prior to his work at Dekan Athletic he served as a turnaround management consultant and as the President of his own Internet Company that provided customer relationship management solutions using technology, marketing, and the internet. Earlier in his career, he served as a corporate executive and as a technology management consultant to a client list of Fortune 1000 companies. In recent years he has been very active with not-for-profit organizations.
Chris attended the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland, and earned an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Chris is a former Golf Professional and an active Marathoner. He recently completed the 'Big Sur' Marathon in Northern California.

Paul Kalinich – Partner
Paul is currently the Secretary/Treasurer of Dekan Athletic Equipment Corp. For over 50 years, Paul served as an attorney in DuPage County, Illinois. He was a general practitioner involving litigation and general business transactions including arguing an anti-trust case before the United States Supreme Court.
Paul is a graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and he also received his J.D. degree from Cornell
Paul was a football player under the tutelage of Coach George Dekan at Glenbard West High School, Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Andrea Casula – Office Manager
Andrea joined Dekan Athletic in December 2008 as the coordinator of marketing and sales, and the office manager. Andrea has over 40 years of experience in business administration, office management, graphic design, marketing, and new business development. Andrea helped organize a resource fair in Washington D.C. showcasing products and services for senior level management in the insurance brokerage industry. Andrea also was actively involved in developing sales leads for a large global brokerage firm.
Andrea attended Northern Illinois University and the Insurance School of Chicago.

Sean Eucker – Account Representative
Sean joined Dekan Athletic in the Spring of 2011 as an Account Representative responsible for sales and services in the southwest suburban Chicago area. After completing his freshman year at Carthage College, he transferred to Northern Illinois University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2010. Sean was a founding member of the Business Administration Student Association at NIU.
Sean played football at Oswego High School and in 2003 Oswego won the 7A State Championship. He played one year of college ball as a quarterback, and today his hobbies include snowboarding, fishing, golfing, and exercising.
